Large-scale 19th century English display cabinet executed in the Chinoiserie tradition. Constructed in carved mahogany and conceived as a tripartite architectural façade, each glazed compartment surmounted by pagoda-form gabled roofs. The doors are fitted with branch-and-vine glazing bars arranged in a trellis pattern, framed by pierced fretwork throughout the apron and base.
The interior back panels have been newly upholstered in a Metaphorès neutral ecru cotton sateen. This treatment is fully reversible and does not alter the original mahogany structure or integrity.
