Priced well below site as well as market value is this fine work of this San Francisco-based designer and decorator incorporates striking originality and wit. The galvanized tin surfaces of this table are molded to simulate the supple draping of fabric, despite being rendered in a rigid material (inspiration came from a tapestry-covered table in the designer's apartment). With its decorative effect and unlikely juxtaposition of material and form, Dickinson's work predates and foreshadows similar experiments in post-modernist design. CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with light patina, wear, oxidation, see photos. Some rub marks and age related wear. Overall excellent collectors example, sturdy and sound, ready for immediate use.
